PARISH ACTIVITIES
St. Mary’s parish life includes a variety of activities and
ministries in addition to our Sunday Worship. Here is a summary of these
activities. You can learn more by calling the parish office and by
checking the Sunday announcements.
Lectors (Readers), Chalice Bearers, Acolytes and Choir Members support our Sunday
Worship. These ministries are recommended as important ways to enhance
one’s spiritual journey.
Children’s Church School. Our
Children’s Church School provides age appropriate religious education for
two age groups: Kindergarten to 2nd grade and 3rd to 6 grades.

The St. Mary’s Café is offered after the Sunday
worship. It is a time for great refreshments and an opportunity to get to
know one another better. It is hosted by our Hospitality Committee with
help from many other members of the parish.
The Food and Care Coalition Noon Meal is served by our
members on the second Sunday of each month. This ministry supports from
70 to 100 people who need a free hot meal. Our part includes preparing
the food for service, serving, and the wash up after the meal. It takes
us about 2 hours total. Those members of the parish who help enjoy the
time of fellowship that comes with doing this part of our Lord’s work.
Men’s Fellowship Breakfast. The men of the parish and their friends gather at
8:30am on the second Saturday of each month for a time of fellowship while
enjoying breakfast at the Village Inn Restaurant in Orem.
